Ukrainian air forces destroyed two Russian Iskander M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 83 drones launched by Russian an overnight attack on December 10.
Ukrainian Air Command said overall, 154 Russian air assets were detected and intercepted during the attack. Among the destroyed Russian military equipment are 151 loitering munitions of the Shahed and Gerbera types. All Russian air assets were launched from Russia’s Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk regions. The main target was Kremenchuk city in Poltava region, with frontline areas also coming under Russian attacks.
A total of 69 attack drones and one ballistic missile hit 34 locations.
Meanwhile, the General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces reported 108 clashes along the frontline, with Ukrainian forces repelling 16 Russian attacks in the Kostiantynivka sector.
According to the General Staff’s statement, Russian army units tried to push forward around Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, and in the direction of Sofiivka but were stopped by Ukrainian forces. In the Pokrovsk zone, Russian troops launched 33 attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses near Shakhove, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Novopavlivka — with Ukrainian defenders successfully repelling 31 of these attacks while combat remains underway. In the Oleksandrohrad sector, Ukrainian forces held their ground against 18 assaults near Zelenyi Hai, Sosnivka, Verbove, Pryvillia, Vyshneve, Rybne, and Pryvilne, and additional fighting is ongoing. In the Huliaipole sector, defenders stopped five enemy offensive actions around Huliaipole and toward Dobropillia, with two engagements still in progress.
