Russian partisans burn locomotives supplying to Putin's army

A Russian paramilitary group, "Freedom of Russia group, fighting within the Ukrainian army has attacked dozens of locomotives transporting supplies to the Russian army, Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate, known as HUR, reported on Thursday.

In a statement posted on Telegram app, HUR said the group members set ablaze the locomotives supplying weapons, ammunition and equipment to the , while also sharing the video footage of the partisan attack.

The video identified several sabotage sites, including Arkhangelskoye in the Moscow region; Bezenchuk, Kinel-Cherkasy, Syzran, and Tolyatti in the Samara region; Bogdanovich, Nizhny Tagil, Pervouralsk, and Bilimbay in the Sverdlovsk region; Novokuznetsk in the Kemerovo region; Syktyvkar in the Komi Republic; as well as Samara, Orel, and the occupied towns of Novooleksiivka in the Kherson region and Amvrosiivka in the Donetsk region.

The time and location of the operation has not be revealed.  "Freedom of Russia" also issued a statement, describing the attack “powerful blows to the logistics of Putin’s army,” adding that while “those who’ve given up sit on cozy sofas, we’re acting and reaching a new level.”

The legion stressed that its resistance "continues to grow stronger and spread across the country – Putin’s scum will live in fear and forget what ‘security’ means."

Ukraine's Atesh partisan movement also conducted multiple sabotage attacks across Russia, disrupting military supplies to the Russian army. In October, the group blew up a major railway line in Russia's Chuvash Republic, temporarily suspending train traffic.
