Polish minister warns of deep Russian strikes on Europe as he displays Shaheed drone

Poland's Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has warned of Russian strike "deep into Russia" as he unveiled a Russian Shaheed kamikaze drone downed in Ukraine.

"Today in the British Parliament, I demonstrated the Iranian Shahed 136 drone, which Russia has used against Ukraine. The Kremlin uses such drones to terrorize Ukrainians, and with decoys, it even entered Polish airspace," Sikorski wrote on his X account. The top Polish diplomat urged Europe to support Ukraine for three more years. "Ukrainians are planning this war for three years, which is prudent,” he said. Furthermore, Sikorski stressed that Putin will only lose the war against Ukraine if he admits that starting it was a mistake.
"He must understand that he cannot win this war. Yes, Russia can lose this war, just as it has lost many others - to Great Britain, Japan, Poland, or the Mujahideen in Afghanistan," he added

Earlier, Sikorski had transported Russia's Iranian-made Shaheed drone - brought down by Ukrainian forces - to Washington.

His remarks came as Russian forces launched 96 strike drones of different types, including Shaheds, targeting Ukraine  during the night of October 14. Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted or neutralized 69 of the drones. However, 27 managed to hit seven different locations.
