Russian barrage injures 11, including two children, kills one in Ukraine’s east

A barrage of Russian guided aerial bombs injured 11 civilians, including two children in Ukraine’s southeastern Zaporizhziha region on March 11, van Fedorov, Head of regional military administration reported.

Fedorov reported that Russian forces attacked the city's infrastructure, damaging buildings. Emergency responders are currently operating at the site. An air-raid alert is still active across Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and officials are continuing to verify details about the consequences of the strike. Earlier, Ukraine’s Air Force said that Russian tactical aircraft had deployed guided aerial bombs toward Zaporizhzhia.

Earlier on 11 March, the State Emergency Service reported that Russian forces used FPV drones to strike an evacuation vehicle in Zaporizhzhia Oblast while rescuers were evacuating an elderly couple from a village near the front line.

In another attack, Russia launched drones at Chuhuiv town in Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region, killing one civilian and injuring at least two others. "As a result of a Russian UAV striking the private sector of the town, a man born in 1972 was killed. Two women were injured. Emergency services are on site. The number of other casualties and the full extent of the damage are being assessed,” head of the Chuhuiv community Halyna Minaieva wrote on Telegram app.
